Mixed Signal Verification Intern

Role Summary

As an intern on the Analog & Mixed‑Signal Design and Verification team in Munich, you will support verification of automotive analog and mixed‑signal circuits. The role focuses on using CAD tools and laboratory equipment to analyze circuit performance and contribute to customer product work.

Start: Q4/2026; Duration: 6 months; Onsite at MPS Munich design and laboratory center.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Internship). Intended for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree; no prior professional experience required beyond initial exposure to analog circuits.

Responsibilities

Typical tasks during the internship include:

• Use CAD and simulation tools to analyze analog and mixed‑signal circuit behavior.
• Perform laboratory measurements and support schematic/layout verification.
• Assist verification activities for automotive products and customer applications.
• Work within the Munich analog/mixed‑signal design and verification team and collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues.
• Document results and report findings to senior engineers.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

• Initial experience with analog circuitry (op‑amps, DC/DC converters, motor drivers, data converters, sensors).
• Basic understanding of schematics, PCB/layout concepts, and laboratory equipment for circuit analysis.
• Familiarity with CAD/simulation tools (beginner to intermediate level).
• Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate results clearly.
• Availability for a full‑time, 6‑month onsite internship starting Q4/2026.

Education Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
