Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Mixed Signal Verification Engineer will develop and verify mixed-signal testbenches and models for wireless RF and high-speed PHY technologies, supporting silicon bring-up and product commercialization. The role works closely with RF, analog, and digital design teams to validate designs via simulation and verification environments.

Experience Level

Mid-level - requires 3+ years of relevant engineering experience in verification or related roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include building mixed-signal verification environments, creating models, and collaborating across design teams.

• Create AMS/DMS testbenches for wireless RF and high-speed PHY designs.
• Develop and maintain analog circuit models in collaboration with RF and analog design engineers.
• Apply digital, analog, and mixed-signal simulation methodologies to verify designs.
• Develop Verilog/SystemVerilog and real-number modeling (RNM) models for verification.
• Build and maintain digital verification environments using UVM.
• Debug simulation results and waveforms to identify and resolve design issues.
• Support silicon bring-up and product commercialization activities.
• Communicate verification results, issues, and progress across teams.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, tools, and personal competencies.

• Strong understanding of digital VLSI simulation flows.
• Strong understanding of mixed-mode and analog simulation flows.
• Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog and real-number modeling (RNM).
• Experience with digital verification methodologies, including UVM.
• Waveform debugging experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: strong understanding of wireless RF transceiver and SerDes PHY technologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or BE) in Engineering or a related field is specified in the posting. No certifications or explicit equivalent-experience language were provided.
