Mixed Signal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Catania MCU verification team to validate analog and mixed-signal IP for edge-processing products. The role focuses on building models and simulation test cases, finding design issues, and ensuring analog blocks meet functional and DFT requirements.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career — requires approximately 2+ years of experience in analog mixed-signal design or verification.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop SystemVerilog Real Number and Verilog-AMS/Verilog-A models for analog blocks.
- Create simulation testbenches, test cases, checkers and models for functional verification and robustness testing.
- Identify design and architectural issues in analog/mixed-signal IP and report defects.
- Perform top-level analysis and verification of test-modes and DFT strategies for analog blocks.
- Collaborate with designers and systems engineers throughout verification and debug cycles.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- At least 2 years of practical experience in analog/mixed-signal design or verification.
- Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog; familiarity with Verilog-AMS or Verilog-A.
- Solid understanding of analog and mixed-signal fundamentals.
- Experience developing simulation test cases, models, and checkers.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficiency in English (read, spoken, written).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with DFT for analog blocks, test-mode analysis, or SV Real Number modeling.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field. PhD is a plus.
