Mixed Signal Verification Architect
Role Summary
Define scalable system-level verification and validation methodologies for digital power-management products used in AI, datacenter, and high-performance computing. The role focuses on aligning analog behavior, digital implementation, firmware interaction, modeling, emulation, bench validation, and silicon measurements to produce clear, correlated evidence for architecture and product decisions.
Work across systems, analog, digital, firmware, validation, applications, and tooling teams to close verification gaps, automate results, and document methodology and residual risks.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 8+ years of relevant experience in mixed-signal verification, semiconductor validation, or related systems engineering.
Responsibilities
Deliver verification strategy, measurable criteria, and correlation across models and hardware. Key responsibilities include:
- Define verification strategy for digital power controllers and related power-management products.
- Develop system-level verification plans covering sensing paths, ADC/DAC behavior, PWM paths, telemetry, compensation, control-loop behavior, latency, quantization, noise, sequencing, and corner cases.
- Establish correlation methodologies across behavioral models, RTL, analog/mixed-signal simulations, emulation, bench validation, and silicon measurements.
- Define measurable pass/fail criteria, coverage expectations, reference scenarios, and evidence requirements for architecture and product decisions.
- Automate verification results generation, including metrics, plots, waveforms, summaries, and structured outputs for engineering review.
- Collaborate with systems, analog design, digital design, firmware, validation, applications, and software/tool teams to identify and close verification gaps.
- Document verification methodology, interface assumptions, test intent, correlation expectations, and residual risks for technical and leadership audiences.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

Must-have: Deep experience in mixed-signal verification, semiconductor validation, or systems engineering involving ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, references, sensing paths, timing circuits, PWM paths, or power stages.

Must-have: Proven ability to define verification plans, measurable results, correlation strategies, and evidence-based decision criteria for complex electronic systems.

Must-have: Experience working across analog, digital, firmware, validation, applications, and software/tool teams and strong communication skills.

Nice-to-have: Experience with digital multiphase controllers, DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, high-current datacenter power, or power-management ICs.

Nice-to-have: Experience with behavioral modeling, model-to-silicon correlation, Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog RNM, MATLAB, Python, SIMPLIS, verification automation, data analysis, or API-driven workflows.

Nice-to-have: Experience creating reusable verification frameworks, test infrastructure, dashboards, or automated data-driven workflows.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
