Mixed Signal RTL Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and implement RTL for the digital portions of advanced mixed-signal circuits. Work closely with system architects, circuit designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams to produce production-quality RTL and support lab and silicon bring-up.
Experience Level
Senior — 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Deliver RTL and support verification and silicon validation for mixed-signal blocks (digital side).
- Specify and implement RTL blocks based on design specifications.
- Write detailed design specifications and interface documentation.
- Collaborate with system architects, circuit designers, and verification engineers.
- Use formal and static-check tools to ensure RTL quality (lint, CDC, RDC).
- Support design verification and lab/silicon bring-up activities, including debug and validation.
- Work with physical design (PD) teams for timing closure of delivered RTL.
Requirements
Core skills and experience required to perform the role.
- Proven experience implementing RTL for complex digital blocks and delivering production-ready code.
- Experience supporting design verification and silicon bring-up activities.
- Familiarity with formal/static verification tools and methodologies (lint, CDC, RDC).
- Experience working with physical design teams on timing closure.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional hardware teams.
- Ability to produce clear design specifications and documentation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering. The posting also states 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
