Job Title

Mixed Signal IP Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join Intel's Devices Development Group to verify mixed-signal power-delivery and related IPs for client SoCs. The role focuses on functional verification, AMS validation, and collaborating with RTL and analog teams to ensure IPs meet specifications.

This position operates under a hybrid work model (split between on-site at the assigned Intel site and off-site).

Experience Level

Mid-level - typically expected to have approximately 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include pre-silicon verification, AMS validation, and collaboration with cross-functional design teams.

  • Perform functional verification of mixed-signal power-delivery IPs (e.g., voltage regulators, ADCs, DACs) against specifications.
  • Develop test plans, add stimuli, and implement checkers/assertions to achieve required coverage.
  • Run AMS simulations and lead or support mixed-signal validation (MSV) activities.
  • Replicate, root-cause, and debug issues in the pre-silicon verification environment.
  • Document test plans and present results in technical reviews with design teams.
  • Maintain and improve verification infrastructure and methodology across IP generations.
  • Participate in defining IP architecture and microarchitecture from a verification perspective.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and practical experience required for initial consideration.

  • Design verification experience using UVM and SystemVerilog with industry-standard EDA tools (3+ years recommended).
  • Hands-on experience with mixed-signal IPs and driving AMS activities (simulations, validation workflows).
  • Experience reading and interpreting RTL and behavioral model (BMOD) code.
  • Experience writing and implementing validation plans and testbenches.
  • Ability to debug pre-silicon issues and collaborate closely with RTL and analog design engineers.
  • Experience maintaining and refining functional verification infrastructure.

Preferred / nice-to-have:

  • Experience verifying both digital and mixed-signal IPs.
  • Clear technical communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools to automate verification tasks and improve efficiency.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
