Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role supporting design, simulation, verification, and lab characterization of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Works within a product development team focused on sensors and power-management ICs.
The engineer will execute assigned verification and test tasks under senior engineer guidance and contribute clear documentation and test results to team projects.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Associate. Typically suitable for candidates with 0+ years of professional experience; on-the-job training and supervision provided.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include supporting verification and characterization activities and maintaining accurate technical records.
- Assist in the design, simulation, and verification of basic analog and mixed-signal circuits (amplifiers, filters, regulators) under supervision.
- Perform routine technical analysis and lab measurements to evaluate integrated-circuit behavior.
- Execute specific portions of larger projects following instructions from team leads.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of simulation results, test procedures, and characterization reports.
- Support senior engineers during integration and review activities.
Requirements
Must-have skills and capabilities for day-one contribution, plus a short list of helpful additional skills.
- Basic understanding of circuit theory and semiconductor device behavior.
- Ability to learn new tools, methods, and engineering concepts quickly.
- Good written and verbal communication; able to document results clearly.
- Comfort working in a supervised team environment and following test procedures.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with SPICE simulation tools and standard laboratory equipment for circuit characterization.
Education Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered. No specific advanced degree required; no prior professional experience necessary.
