Role Summary

Product engineering role for Calibre metrology and inspection tools focused on ebeam inspection/metrology. The role combines product engineering with business development and product marketing to expand market adoption and define capabilities for next-generation semiconductor processes.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum >5 years industry experience bridging metrology/inspection with business or marketing functions.

Responsibilities

The role requires close collaboration with R&D, sales, marketing, and Tier‑1 customers to validate capabilities, define roadmaps, and support market deployment.

• Define product roadmaps and drive business development strategies for market expansion.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and key customers to ensure successful deployment of next‑generation tools.
• Provide technical customer support and identify upsell opportunities.
• Validate and characterize software capabilities for next‑generation semiconductor processes.
• Translate customer challenges into actionable product improvements and marketing insights.
• Create go‑to‑market collateral and present technical value propositions to key accounts.
• Align R&D priorities with metrology demands and business growth objectives.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and domain experience; listed separately are nice-to-have skills.

• Must-have: Proven expertise in metrology or inspection within wafer fabs.
• Must-have: Deep understanding of semiconductor processing and lithography and experience with Tier‑1 customer ecosystems.
• Must-have: Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating environments.
• Must-have: Commercial mindset with experience driving business development and product positioning.
• Must-have: Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills for technical audiences.
• Must-have: Experience working across R&D, sales, and marketing to deploy technical solutions.
• Nice-to-have: TCL, Perl, Python scripting, or C programming experience.

Education Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Physics, Optics, Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
