Memory Circuit Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and validate memory-related analog, logic, and mixed-signal circuits to support product development and tape-outs. Join the Hyderabad design team to perform circuit-level design, layout oversight, parasitic modeling, and verification, and to work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 1–2 years of relevant experience in memory circuit design.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include circuit design, verification, layout oversight, and cross-team coordination.

• Design, layout, and optimize Memory/Logic/Analog circuits for product developments.
• Perform parasitic modeling and participate in design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
• Oversee and manage the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
• Execute verification with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality.
• Leverage AI-based tools and automation to improve design efficiency and accelerate analysis.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; a short list of preferred attributes follows.

• Hands-on experience (1–2 years) in memory circuit design and characterization (DDR5, LPDDR5, LPDDR6, HBM3, or similar).
• Experience with parasitic extraction and design-validation flows.
• Knowledge of layout planning, placement, routing, and DRC/LVS considerations.
• Experience with industry-standard circuit simulators and verification methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical results and work cross-functionally.
• Proactive problem solving and drive to improve design processes.
• Preferred: strong teamwork and communication skills; familiarity with AI-based design/automation tools.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 1–2 years of experience in memory-related work. Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
