Job Title
Member of Technical Staff
Role Summary
Join the verification IP team to specify, implement, test, and enhance verification components and testbenches for high-speed interfaces and protocols used with RTL simulation.
The role works within a global R&D team to develop SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification solutions that improve bug detection and verification efficiency for semiconductor and system designs.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Years of experience not specified.
Responsibilities
Deliver verification IP and testbench solutions to validate complex interfaces and protocols.
- Specify, implement, test, and enhance verification IP components for end-user applications and standard bus protocols.
- Design and develop SystemVerilog testbenches and verification methodologies (UVM, VMM).
- Develop and apply assertions, functional coverage, test plans, BFMs, and debugging/logging strategies.
- Collaborate with Technical Marketing, Field Application Engineers, and customers to deploy solutions and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and team learning on emerging protocols and verification techniques.
Requirements
Key technical skills and professional competencies required.
- Proven hands-on experience in verification engineering and SystemVerilog testbench development.
- Practical knowledge of verification methodologies such as UVM or VMM.
- Experience with simulation-based verification, assertions, and functional coverage analysis.
- Exposure to industry-standard protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, SATA, NVMe, DDR, DIMM or similar).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.
- Self-driven, able to learn new technologies and build expertise in verification areas.
- Nice-to-have: experience with Questa RTL simulation and verification of high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen5/Gen6, USB3.2, 400GbE, DDR5/LPDDR5, CXL).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline from a reputed institution (as stated in original posting).
