Role Summary

Join the Siemens EDA software team in Noida to design and implement C/C++ components for electronic design automation tools. The role is development-focused within a research & development product team working on complex, large-scale software used by chip and system designers.

Work in a collaborative, hybrid environment to deliver maintainable features, troubleshoot system issues, and contribute to product design and quality.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 1–2 years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include engineering, debugging, and collaborating with product teams.

• Design, implement and maintain C/C++ code using appropriate design patterns.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to build performant software.
• Analyze and model graph-related problems where relevant to product features.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand complex product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write and maintain tests, participate in code reviews, and help improve development practices.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional traits; listed nice-to-have items separately.

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, including familiarity with common design patterns.
• Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms and ability to apply them to real systems.
• Ability to understand and decompose complex software and system problems.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Nice-to-have: prior experience in EDA tools or domain, practical experience with graph algorithms and related data models.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (Graduate/Postgraduate) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science or a closely related engineering discipline — or equivalent practical experience.
