Job Title

Manager, Product Management – Connectivity Products

Role Summary

Lead product strategy, roadmap, and market-requirements for Qualcomm Datacenter Network Connectivity products. Act as the product owner across cross-functional teams - engineering, sales, manufacturing, quality, test, and marketing - to deliver products through their lifecycle.

Serve as the primary interface between customers, engineering, sales, and executive leadership to ensure products meet market needs, business objectives, and competitive differentiation.

Experience Level

Senior: manager-level role. Posting expects a combination of technical and product management experience (≈8+ years) and at least 2+ years of product management experience in relevant industries.

Responsibilities

Responsible for product definition, roadmaps, and go-to-market readiness for datacenter connectivity products.

  • Define and maintain product roadmap aligned with customer needs and company capabilities.
  • Create business cases and prioritize product developments to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Develop market requirements documents and act as product owner on new product development teams.
  • Manage customer design-ins in coordination with Sales and ensure supporting product collateral.
  • Contribute to product pricing and monitor cost/profit targets across the product lifecycle.
  • Collect and disseminate market and competitive insights to inform product decisions.

Requirements

Key qualifications and domain experience required or strongly preferred.

  • Must-have: 2+ years of product management experience or equivalent; industry experience in semiconductor or optical interconnects with focus on PAM4 and/or Coherent DSPs or DSP-based optical modules.
  • Must-have: Strong technical background with product management responsibility; experience serving as product owner on cross-functional development teams.
  • Must-have: Experience developing market requirements, business cases, and prioritizing product development.
  • Nice-to-have: Advanced technical degree or MBA.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of datacenter and AI datacenter architectures, electrical and optical connectivity technologies, and networking (NPO/CPO) ecosystem.

Education Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are recognized: a Master’s may substitute for one year of work experience and a Doctorate may substitute for two years. Advanced technical degree preferred; MBA is an asset. Equivalent practical experience may be accepted per company policy.
