Role Summary

Lead a team of RF engineers in the Radio Frequency Semiconductor Business Unit to develop and deliver RF and microwave products for aerospace, defense, communications, and wireless applications. Own technical direction, program execution, and cross-functional coordination from concept through production.

Experience Level

Senior level. Requires 8+ years of RF/microwave or semiconductor product development experience and 3+ years of leadership or people-management experience.

Responsibilities

Accountable for technical leadership, program delivery, and team development across product development and sustainment activities.

  • Lead and develop an RF engineering team supporting new product development and sustainment.
  • Drive execution of RF product development programs and manage schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership in RF, microwave, mixed-signal, and system-level design reviews.
  • Coordinate with product line, manufacturing, quality, and operations for product launches.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges, customer escalations, and product performance issues.
  • Build capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across global engineering and business teams.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, experience, and leadership capabilities.

  • 8+ years of experience in RF, microwave, aerospace, defense, communications, wireless, or semiconductor product development.
  • 3+ years managing engineering teams, technical programs, or product development organizations.
  • Strong technical expertise in RF design, characterization, validation, and system-level performance analysis.
  • Proven track record delivering complex products from concept through production release.
  • Strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams and external customers.
  • Travel: up to 10% of the time.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with RF design simulation and AI tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline (BS/MS/PhD). Not specified whether equivalent practical experience may substitute.
