Manager, Global Hardware Enablement (ATKL)

Role Summary

Lead the Global Hardware Enablement (GHWE) team in Kuala Lumpur to deliver test hardware for NPI/NTI and Full Turnkey (FTK) projects. Coordinate cross-functionally with business lines, procurement, quality, and manufacturing to ensure schedules, quality, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities

Accountable for team leadership, execution of hardware projects, supplier management, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead and develop the GHWE KL team, providing coaching and performance management.
  • Manage NPI/NTI test hardware projects from planning through on-time delivery.
  • Drive project execution, risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Manage hardware suppliers: selection, qualification, sourcing, and performance monitoring (schedule, quality, cost).
  • Coordinate with business lines, GNTC, Procurement, Quality, and manufacturing sites.
  • Oversee FTK project deployment and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with GHWE processes, HRS, and ARAS release workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost savings, and process optimization.
  • Provide regular project status updates and support management escalations as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical, leadership, and project-management capabilities relevant to test hardware delivery.

  • Technical (must-have): Strong knowledge of test hardware solutions (PCB, load board, probe card, socket); understanding of NPI/NTI processes and hardware development flow; experience with supplier qualification and technical reviews; familiarity with ARAS, HRS, and hardware release processes.
  • Leadership (must-have): Team leadership and coaching; strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration; ability to drive decisions, resolve conflicts, and manage escalations.
  • Project & Business Management (must-have): Project planning and schedule management; risk, change, and cost management; data-driven decision making; strong communication and presentation skills; proactive ownership mindset.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience with Full Turnkey (FTK) deployments and supplier sourcing activities.
