Job Title

Manager, Development Engineering

Role Summary

Manage a team of production/development engineers responsible for product test plan development, test yield, and production support for integrated RF front-end products (Antenna Tuners, Switches, and related devices).

Customer-facing role that coordinates cross-functional stakeholders to deliver product engineering resources, quality support, and continuous process improvements from product initiation through end of life.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include team leadership, production support, and process improvement.

  • Manage a team of production engineers (4+ engineers) owning test plan development, test yield, and related deliverables.
  • Act as customer-facing engineering contact for product development and production issues.
  • Provide development engineering and production support for RF front-end products (Antenna Tuner, Switch, etc.).
  • Oversee employee performance management, including evaluations and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate resource allocation with project stakeholders and ensure delivery of engineering milestones.
  • Implement best practices and lean process improvements across the team.
  • Support Quality with qualification, electrical pre/post test analysis, failure analysis, 8D reports, and material disposition.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and preferred experience.

  • Must-have: Familiarity with RF front-end components or other wireless communication devices and technologies.
  • Must-have: Advanced data analytics experience, including AI/ML, statistical modeling, and large-scale data analysis; ability to translate data and AI-driven insights into actionable decisions.
  • Must-have: Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, Databricks or equivalent; experience with automation workflows preferred.
  • Desired: Working knowledge of SQL, R, JSL, and/or Python for automation or predictive modeling.
  • Desired: High-volume production test, fab processing, and/or quality engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Desired: Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a self-motivated mindset.
  • Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company.

Education Requirements

Required: BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent.
