Role Summary
Lead and manage a team developing core RTL units and verification for NVIDIA's Switch Silicon. Responsible for micro-architecture, delivery of complex RTL modules, verification planning, and cross-team coordination with architecture, back-end, and firmware groups.
Experience Level
Senior - requires demonstrated management experience in chip design. The role specifies at least 3 years of managerial experience and about 8+ years of total industry experience in RTL design or verification.
Responsibilities
Primary technical and people-management responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of design and verification engineers developing core Switch Silicon units.
- Define micro-architecture and plan RTL and simulation environments for modules.
- Drive delivery of complex RTL units and their verification to schedule and quality targets.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Full Chip, Micro-Architecture, Back-End (BE), and Firmware (FW) teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership qualifications:
- 3+ years of managerial experience in chip design.
- 8+ years of industry experience in RTL design, dynamic verification, or related domains.
- Strong understanding of chip design flows and verification methodologies.
- Proven leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience with switch silicon, high-speed communication devices, or low-latency/high-throughput designs.
Education Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
