Manager, ASIC Chip - GPU
Role Summary
Manage and deliver GPU ASIC projects from concept through mass production. Lead cross-functional teams across architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, packaging, test, and manufacturing to achieve performance, power, and schedule targets.
This role reports to senior engineering leadership and focuses on execution, technical risk mitigation, and coordination across IP, software, and systems teams.
Experience Level
Senior-level — minimum 10 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role in GPU or key subsystem development.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include project leadership, technical coordination, and delivery oversight.
- Coordinate the full ASIC development lifecycle: concept, design, verification, tape-out, bring-up, and mass production.
- Drive architectural definition, process and package selection, performance modeling, and power budgeting.
- Oversee RTL development, verification strategy, and test implementation.
- Define and track project milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks across IP, emulation, integration, physical design, and VLSI teams.
- Collaborate with packaging, system design, DFT, test engineering, test software, and logistics for silicon bring-up and ramp.
- Identify, prioritize, and mitigate key technical and schedule risks to ensure project execution.
