LSDC Verification Lead - CPU Cores
Role Summary
Technical lead responsible for load-store verification execution across next-generation high-speed microprocessor cores. Maintain and improve verification methodology and infrastructure, develop test environments and regressions, and coordinate with architects, RTL designers and validation teams.
Role is based in Fishkill, NY. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
Execute and lead functional verification activities for CPU load/store functionality and related infrastructure.
- Design and execute directed and random test suites at behavioral RTL level across SoC, core and block hierarchies.
- Develop verification environments, infrastructure, and test plans for full-chip and standalone block verification and debug.
- Implement and maintain automated regression infrastructure for functional verification.
- Develop, run and debug x86 assembly based directed tests and random exercisers to validate functionality.
- Resolve simulation discrepancies and assertion failures for behavioral and gate-level models.
- Analyze coverage results and implement actions to close coverage gaps.
- Support next-generation LSDC rewrite and related verification projects.
- Provide project definition, training, and documentation; collaborate with architects and RTL designers.
Requirements
Key technical skills and experience required or strongly preferred for the role.

Must-have:
- Proven experience in load-store verification for microprocessor designs and strong foundation in CPU architecture.
- Experience leading verification execution or technical leadership in load-store verification.
- Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog and HDL-based verification techniques.
- Programming skills in C/C++ and Perl; familiarity with assembly programming (x86).
- Experience developing verification infrastructure, automated regressions, and test environments; strong debug skills.

Nice-to-have:
- Logic simulation experience and direct experience with Verilog simulators.
- Experience with coverage-driven verification and coverage analysis tools.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field preferred; significant industry experience desired. (Degrees related to CS or EE were specified.)
