Role Summary
As a Product Architecture Engineer for DRAM, you will define LPDDR-based memory solutions for AI inference at the edge, translating system-level requirements into product features and module architectures. The role partners with customers, system architects, researchers, and internal teams to evaluate architectures and drive innovation.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 12+ years of engineering experience with leadership in memory or system architecture.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities focus on system analysis, architecture pathfinding, and mentoring.
- Analyze system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping tools to evaluate memory behavior in AI workloads.
- Identify system bottlenecks with customers and propose memory-based solutions.
- Lead pathfinding and definition of LPDDR-based module architectures.
- Define memory features that enhance DRAM performance for target workloads.
- Collaborate with SoC/ASIC teams, PHY, controllers, and customers to align product and system requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects; contribute to cross-functional technical decisions.
Requirements

Must-have: 12+ years of engineering experience with demonstrated work on LPDDR and/or DRAM module architectures.

Must-have: Strong understanding of memory hierarchy, memory controllers, PHY, and SoC/ASIC integration.

Must-have: Experience with system-level analysis using modeling, simulation, or prototyping tools.

Nice-to-have: Knowledge of memory subsystems in high-performance computing.

Nice-to-have: Experience with TSV, stacked or 3D packaging technologies; hardware/software co-optimization or AI frameworks.

Nice-to-have: Participation in JEDEC or similar standards groups; Japanese language proficiency.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is listed as a minimum requirement.
