LPDDR PHY IP Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Develop and execute verification strategies for LPDDR PHY IP and integrated IP subsystems. Work within the PHY IP team to implement testbenches, run regressions, debug silicon issues, and support subsystem integration for global customers.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical experience expectations from the posting: MSEE with 3+ years or BSEE with 6+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches and verification environments for PHY IP and subsystems.
• Create and execute test plans and regression suites at block and chip level.
• Integrate IP verification into subsystem/SoC-level flows and validate interfaces.
• Debug silicon issues and perform root-cause analysis during bring-up and validation.
• Automate verification flows and maintain scripts for simulation and coverage runs.
• Collaborate with RTL designers, integrators, and cross-functional teams; communicate findings in Mandarin and English.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• ASIC RTL design and verification experience at chip and block level.
• Proficient in Verilog, SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience with scripting for verification and automation (Perl, Tcl).
• Strong silicon-debugging, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication in Mandarin and English.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of high-speed interface protocols (e.g., LPDDR).
• Subsystem/SoC integration and validation experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 3+ years of relevant experience. No certifications or alternate degree fields were specified in the posting.
