LPDDR PHY IP Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Member of the LPDDR PHY IP team responsible for developing verification environments, testbenches, and validating integrated IP subsystems for customers. Work spans block- and chip-level verification and supporting silicon bring-up and debug.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain RTL verification testbenches and UVM environments for LPDDR PHY IP and integrated subsystems.
• Plan and execute block- and chip-level verification tests and drive coverage closure.
• Create and maintain verification automation and support scripts using Perl and Tcl.
• Collaborate with RTL design, physical design, firmware, and system teams to integrate and validate IP.
• Provide silicon debug support and failure analysis during bring-up.
• Document verification plans, test results, and known issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• ASIC RTL design and verification experience at chip and block level.
• Strong Verilog and SystemVerilog skills and UVM-based verification experience.
• Proficiency with Perl and Tcl for test automation.
• Knowledge of silicon debugging and failure analysis.
• Effective communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with high-speed interface protocols or PHY verification (e.g., LPDDR).

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 3+ years of relevant experience (as specified in the posting).
