Role Summary
Lead verification efforts for the Low Power Audio Subsystem (LPASS) hardware within Qualcomm's Bangalore LPASS HW team. Responsible for planning and executing verification strategies, developing testbenches, and ensuring silicon quality for tape-out.

Responsibilities
Primary verification responsibilities for LPASS features and related deliverables.
- Own DV for one or more LPASS core features.
- Design and maintain robust, feature-specific testbenches (SV/UVM).
- Develop and apply formal, simulation, and emulation-based verification methodologies to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Debug RTL and testbench issues; use tools like Verdi to trace and resolve failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure bug-free silicon at tape-out.
- Drive process and tool improvements for verification flow.
Requirements
Essential technical skills and hands-on experience required for the role.
- Minimum 1β2 years of VLSI industry experience.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Practical experience with HDLs: Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Proficiency developing SV/UVM-based testbenches.
- Experience debugging RTL/TB issues using Verdi or equivalent tools.
- Proficient scripting skills in Perl and/or Python.
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of UPF and low-power architecture.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Qualification-to-experience options listed: Bachelor's +3 years, Master's +2 years, or PhD +1 year of related hardware engineering experience (equivalent practical experience considered as specified).
