Logic Design Engineer
Role Summary
Architect, design, and implement Ethernet/networking IP for integration into next-generation SoCs serving automotive, industrial and edge-computing markets. Work spans micro-architecture, Verilog RTL implementation, logic synthesis and timing closure within an R&D IP team.
Provide technical leadership, coordinate with verification, integration, software and marketing teams, and drive quality, documentation and continuous improvement in design methodology.
Experience Level
Entry or Early Career β 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include architecture, RTL delivery, and ensuring IP quality for SoC integration.
- Architect scalable micro-architecture for Ethernet/networking IP (including TSN-related functionality).
- Design and implement Verilog RTL; perform logic synthesis and timing closure.
- Perform trade-off analysis for performance, area and complexity.
- Ensure front-end to back-end handoff quality (Lint, CDC, Synthesis checks, STA, LEC).
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews; provide technical support to the IP team.
- Collaborate with design verification on planning and execution to meet delivery and quality targets.
- Produce and maintain high-quality functional and implementation specifications.
- Work with architecture, software, marketing, SoC integration and application engineering to define features and resolve issues.
