Lead Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Product validation engineer responsible for verification and quality of Palladium emulation technology (including UPF). The role verifies upcoming features, manages regressions, participates in technical reviews, and mentors junior engineers.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 3+ years of relevant verification or emulation experience.
Responsibilities
The engineer will own verification and release quality for Palladium emulation features and support the team technically.
- Plan and execute verification for Palladium emulation features, including UPF-related functionality.
- Manage and maintain regression suites and release-quality metrics.
- Debug design and verification issues using Palladium and other EDA tools.
- Participate in functional specification and testplan reviews.
- Review technical deliverables and guide team members.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team process improvements and automation.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Strong understanding of HDLs (Verilog and/or VHDL).
- Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, and C++ for verification tasks.
- Experience in functional verification of complex digital systems (SoC-level verification).
- Practical experience with EDA tools and debugging on Palladium or similar emulation platforms.
- Experience with process automation and scripting (testbench/build/regression automation).
- Ability to participate in technical reviews and communicate findings clearly.
- Nice-to-have: prior Emulation and UPF experience.
Education Requirements
B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / ME in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science - with 3+ years of relevant industry experience as stated in the posting.
