Role Summary
Support deployment and system integration of high-speed optical transceivers on 51.2T-class and next-generation AI switches. Act as the primary technical customer contact for bring-up, debugging, and performance tuning of 800G and 1.6T optical links.
This role combines applications engineering, customer support, and cross-functional product integration to ensure reliable, high-performance optical interconnects.

Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for customer deployments, system bring-up, and interoperability of high-speed optical links.
- Provide expert technical support for 51.2T and future-generation switch architectures, focused on 800G and 1.6T transceivers.
- Serve as primary customer-facing technical lead to capture requirements and deliver system-level solutions.
- Debug and resolve interoperability issues involving switches, DSPs, and high-speed optical modules.
- Lead customer demos, evaluations, switch configuration, link validation, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with optical, hardware, software, mechanical, and thermal teams for product integration.
- Monitor industry standards and trends to inform product and customer roadmaps.
Requirements

- Must-have: Strong understanding of optical transceiver architecture, configuration, and performance characteristics.
- Must-have: Extensive hands-on experience with DSP bring-up, transceiver configuration, and high-speed link debugging.
- Must-have: In-depth familiarity with AI networking switch architectures and Layer 1 / Layer 2 configurations.
- Must-have: Experience working with 800G optical modules and 51.2T-class switches.
- Must-have: Excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Must-have: Ability to work independently while collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with 1.6T modules or next-generation switches.
- Nice-to-have: Prior experience at an optical transceiver or networking systems company.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
