Lead Specialist, New Product Logistics

Role Summary

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities as the New Product Coordinator (NPC) within the Instrumentation/Industrial team. Coordinate logistics between project managers, the business unit, and manufacturing to ensure timely development, qualification, and release of new products.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires 7+ years of experience in NPC or planning roles.

Responsibilities

Coordinate NPC logistics and maintain project tracking, WIP status, and reporting for NPI projects.

  • Coordinate NPC activities in parallel with Project Managers for NPI projects.
  • Act as liaison between the Business Unit and manufacturing organizations.
  • Order and track wafers; ensure required holds are applied and monitored.
  • Monitor WIP and offshore assemblies for evaluation, qualification, characterization, and stock; report progress versus commitments.
  • Expedite and monitor materials as required.
  • Create, review, and submit PRIME and PROMIS applications and manufacturing interface forms.
  • Manage disposition of engineering WIP to manufacturing at release.
  • Identify process weaknesses that cause delays or errors and drive corrective actions.
  • Maintain milestone and scorecard databases, WIP status reports, and project dashboards.
  • Gather, analyze, and report project data; track performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate knowledge management across the portfolio to enable PMs to track time, resources, and costs.

Requirements

Must-have technical and functional skills for the role.

  • 7+ years' experience in an NPC or planning role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, planning and coordination skills.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional tasks to completion and build working relationships across levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling and quality systems (e.g., PRIME, PROMIS).
  • Strong understanding of ADI NPI processes.
  • Required Travel: No; Shift: Day shift.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical, management, or relevant discipline.
