Lead Software Engineer - Logic Synthesis
Role Summary
Develop and maintain the logic synthesizer used with Palladium platforms. The role focuses on implementing HDL feature support, optimizing synthesis logic, and improving synthesizer performance.
Work within a multi-site engineering team to deliver synthesis features and performance improvements for Cadence verification/emulation products.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain the synthesizer for Palladium emulation platforms.
- Implement support for new VHDL and Verilog language features in the synthesizer.
- Perform logic optimization and drive performance improvements in synthesis flows.
- Collaborate with cross-location teams and stakeholders to integrate features and fixes.
Requirements

- Must-have: Proficiency in C/C++ and solid understanding of operating system concepts.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with design modeling using Verilog/SystemVerilog, VHDL, or SystemC.
- Must-have: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on multi-site projects.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with RTL modeling of BFMs and verification methodologies (UVM, SC/TLM).
- Nice-to-have: EDA/CAD tool development or logic design verification experience.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code).
Education Requirements
