Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing compiler components and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable emulation tooling.
- Design and implement compiler modules and data structures for the emulator.
- Develop and optimize logic modeling and logic-optimization algorithms.
- Apply multi-threading and distributed computing to scale compile and analysis workflows.
- Write, review, and maintain high-quality C++ code; perform debugging with gdb and related tools.
- Work with build and version-control systems to integrate components into the product build.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve large-scale compile problems.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases.
- Demonstrated proficiency in C++ and proficiency with debugging tools (gdb).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix development environments.
- Experience with multi-threading and distributed computing for large-scale problems.
- Exposure to build systems and version-control workflows.
- Ability to analyze and optimize performance-critical code.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Coursework or familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL was also listed.
