Lead Product Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Lead validation of IP and SoC products on the product validation team. Develop testbenches and tests, execute regressions, debug protocol and simulation issues, and drive verification sign-off in collaboration with design and architecture teams.
Experience Level
Senior level. The posting requests 4–6 years of IP/SoC verification experience; title indicates lead/senior responsibility.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain verification testbenches; create and run tests.
- Debug simulation failures and protocol issues; perform root-cause analysis.
- Drive functional, code, and assertion coverage closure.
- Collaborate with design, architecture, and validation teams.
- Support regression suites, design reviews, and verification sign-off.
Requirements
Must-have technical and behavioral qualifications:
- 4–6 years of IP/SoC verification experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Experience with one or more high-speed interface protocols (specific protocols not listed in posting).
- Good understanding of SoC fundamentals and strong debugging/problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on VHDL design experience.
- Scripting experience in Python, Perl, or Shell.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
Education Requirements
MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (with 4+ years experience) or BE/BTech in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
