Lead Product Engineer
Role Summary
Technical lead within the Digital and Signoff Group responsible for driving product development of IR/EM analysis and signoff tools. Works with R&D and customer engagement teams to translate customer requirements into product features and ensure successful tool deployment.
Focus is on technical ownership of product behavior, validation, customer support for tool workflows, and coordinating fixes and enhancements with engineering teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level (4–7 years of relevant industry experience)
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include product technical ownership across development and customer-facing activities.
- Collaborate with R&D and Customer Engagement to define and prioritize product requirements for IR/EM analysis and signoff flows.
- Drive and influence product development to satisfy customer requirements and roadmap goals.
- Manage tool deployment, validation, and integration in customer environments.
- Track, reproduce, and drive resolution of customer issues; coordinate fixes with engineering teams.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams on tool usage and workflows.
- Document behavior, usage scenarios, and deployment procedures required for customer success.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and skills.
- 4–7 years' experience with industry-standard IR/EM analysis tools.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with R&D to drive product changes based on customer needs.
- Experience managing tool deployment and supporting customers in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills in customer-facing technical roles.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (examples given: BS/MS, BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech) or equivalent practical experience.
