Job Title

Lead MTS DFT

Role Summary

Lead DFT engineer on the MIC/PMIC design team in Bangalore responsible for full DFT delivery for high-speed mixed-signal designs and silicon bring-up. The role owns DFT implementation, debug, flow deployment, and collaboration with test, EDA, and cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior - typically 8–12 years of relevant hands-on DFT experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute DFT activities across design, verification, and silicon stages.

  • Design and implement full DFT for mixed-signal and PMIC designs.
  • Create, integrate and deploy DFT IPs and flows.
  • Perform low-coverage and at-speed analysis for stuck-at and delay faults; debug failures.
  • Support silicon bring-up, test program development, diagnosis and yield improvement.
  • Collaborate with Test Engineering, EDA R&D, and cross-functional teams to define DFT structures and constraints.
  • Propose and implement EDA/flow improvements; deploy scripting and automation for flows.
  • Contribute to silicon sign-off and diagnostic sign-off activities.

Requirements

Key technical and interpersonal requirements. Must-haves are listed first.

  • Must-have: Strong understanding of DFT concepts such as scan compression, scan stitching, fault models (stuck-at, delay tests, small delay), EDT, OCC, and SOC DFT architecture.
  • Must-have: Experience with silicon debug, test diagnosis, and sign-off processes.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with synthesis, RTL coding and STA.
  • Must-have: Practical experience with scripting/automation (Perl, Python, TCL, Shell) and flow deployment.
  • Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with Tessent ATPG and MBIST/LBIST knowledge.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience proposing/working with EDA tool development or R&D teams.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements

BTech / BE / ME / M.Tech in engineering (as listed by the employer).
