Ownership of verification activities for new and existing SoC features, from planning through closure.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, firmware and driver teams to capture verification requirements.
- Create test plans accounting for interactions with hardware, firmware, and software use cases.
- Estimate verification effort and plan changes to test environments.
- Develop directed and constrained-random tests using UVM and SystemVerilog.
- Debug test failures, identify root causes, and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
- Track and review functional and code coverage; add or modify tests to meet coverage targets.
Requirements
Core technical skills and proven experience required; separate list for additional desirable skills.
Must-have:
- 8+ years of IP/Sub-System/SoC level ASIC verification experience.
- Proven experience with UVM-based testbenches and SystemVerilog/Verilog.
- Experience debugging RTL and firmware using simulation tools.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++ and working experience on Linux.
- Experience developing verification frameworks, directed and random tests, and coverage-driven verification.
- Ability to build test plans and estimate verification effort.
