Job Title
Lead Digital Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification of non-volatile memory controller IP modules within the SoC/IP verification team. Define verification strategy and deliver UVM-based environments to validate RTL, power-aware RTL, and gate-level implementations.
The role coordinates with digital design teams, executes verification plans, debugs failures, and drives coverage closure prior to silicon.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 8+ years of relevant verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define digital verification strategy and verification plans for IP modules.
- Develop, debug, and maintain SystemVerilog UVM verification environments for RTL and netlist simulation.
- Create directed and constrained-random test cases, stimulus, and assertions; run regressions and debug failures.
- Collect and analyze functional and code coverage; drive coverage closure.
- Interface with digital design teams to understand IP functionality and SoC integration.
- Execute verification on RTL, power-aware RTL, and gate-level models.
Requirements
Required and preferred skills.
Must-have:
- 8+ years of experience in digital verification of IP or SoC components.
- Proven experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification methodology.
- Familiarity with Verilog, assertions, and RTL/netlist simulation workflows.
- Experience with directed and constrained-random verification techniques and coverage-driven verification.
- Proficiency with shell and general software programming; ability to write and debug verification scripts and environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with global teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Scripting experience in Perl, TCL, or Python.
- Experience with power-aware verification and gate-level verification.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (the posting specifies a bachelor's degree or above).
