Role Summary
The Lead Designer, Layout will lead IC layout for the Hearables and Wearables Consumer Business Unit, delivering complex mixed-signal layouts and defining layout architecture and methodology. The role is a senior technical position that influences design decisions across teams and drives process and productivity improvements.

Senior - 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for technical leadership, project delivery, and team development on complex layout projects.
- Lead complex IC layout projects from conception through tape-out.
- Make architecture-level layout decisions that affect product performance.
- Develop and implement layout methodologies and best practices.
- Perform advanced process evaluations and layout optimizations.
- Mentor and guide junior layout engineers; act as primary technical resource.
- Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence.
- Manage projects with substantial business impact and deliver on schedules.
- Travel as required (approximately 10% of time).

- Expert-level proficiency in IC layout and architecture design for mixed-signal/consumer designs.

- Strong mentoring and team development skills.
- Demonstrated experience performing advanced process evaluations and layout optimizations.
Education Requirements
