Lead Design Engineer - Verification

Role Summary

Work as a hands-on VLSI design verification engineer on SoC and IP verification for customer projects. Collaborate with local design teams and global stakeholders to define verification strategy, execute verification plans, and close coverage and regression goals.

Contribute to verification methodology and reusable environments to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Experience Level

Senior-level (Lead). The posting specifies 3–5 years of hands-on VLSI/SOC design verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification for SoC and IP, debugging complex issues, and coordinating with customers and internal teams.

  • Develop and execute verification plans for SoC and IP blocks to ensure design intent and testability.
  • Perform RTL verification using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog).
  • Participate in coverage analysis, regression testing, and closure of verification goals.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to debug complex issues and optimize verification strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of verification environments and reusable testbenches.
  • Work closely with customer and internal engineering teams to deliver support and service for project execution.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills are listed below; preferred items are indicated.

  • 3–5 years of experience in VLSI/SOC design verification (RTL verification).
  • Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Experience with verification tools and regression environments.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more protocols: AMBA, PCIe, USB, MIPI, DDR/LPDDR.
  • Ability to perform coverage-driven verification and close verification metrics.
  • Nice-to-have: ARM or RISC-V processor integration experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (the posting specifies Bachelor’s or Master’s).
