Key responsibilities include design, integration, verification support, and implementation support.
- Design and integrate IPs into SoC based on high-level architectural specifications.
- Perform Lint and CDC checks and resolve issues to meet quality requirements.
- Create synthesis constraints at IP and SoC levels and perform basic synthesis for PPA optimization.
- Produce detailed microarchitectural specification documents.
- Support verification with test-plan creation, coverage analysis, and feature debugging.
- Support physical design handoff and implementation as needed.
- Develop automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve flows.
- Collaborate across teams to meet project milestones.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and preferred additions.
- Must-have: Minimum 5 years of digital design experience; strong digital design fundamentals and Verilog/SystemVerilog proficiency.
- Must-have: Solid experience with Lint and CDC tools and ability to set up flows from scratch.
- Must-have: Knowledge of creating synthesis constraints and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
- Must-have: Familiarity with simulation tools to support verification (e.g., Xcelium).
- Must-have: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Perl, Tcl) and ability to automate tasks.
- Must-have: Effective written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with synthesis tools.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with AMBA protocols and ARM IP.
