Role Summary

Lead post-silicon electrical and functional validation for high-speed memory interfaces. Work on test strategy, characterization, debugging, and reporting to support product and customer success.

Experience Level

Senior — requires experienced engineers. Typical expectations: 4–6+ years of relevant industry experience (see Education Requirements for degree-specific guidance).

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include validation, analysis, automation, and cross-team debugging to accelerate bring-up and customer support.

• Plan and lead electrical and functional post-silicon validation for high-speed memory interfaces.
• Design and execute test strategies for DDR interfaces and related IP.
• Perform advanced data analysis and visualization to translate test results into actionable recommendations.
• Drive debug workflows using issue tracking systems and collaborate with ASIC, firmware, and IP teams to resolve problems.
• Produce detailed characterization reports that guide product decisions and customer engagements.
• Automate validation workflows, data processing, and reporting using Python.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer DDR IP challenges.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for the role.

• Proven experience in post-silicon electrical and functional validation of high-speed memory interfaces (DDR family, HBM, GDDR).
• Strong debugging skills and experience driving issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and reporting.
• Experience with test characterization, data analysis, and visualization.
• Ability to produce clear, impactful technical reports and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-facing troubleshooting experience.

Education Requirements

M.Tech (Master's) with 4+ years of relevant experience, or B.Tech (Bachelor's) with 6+ years of relevant experience.
