Lead Configuration Management Engineer

Role Summary

Join the team that manages the release and development environment for Xcelium. This role focuses on SecDevOps, release automation, and continuous integration pipelines spanning on-premises server farms and cloud infrastructure.

The position drives improvements in release speed, security, reliability and developer productivity across development-to-delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for maintaining and improving CI/release infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting global build and test systems.

  • Design and improve CI pipelines and release automation to increase speed, security, and reliability.
  • Secure, manage, and maintain development environments, version control, build tools, and automation scripts.
  • Ensure system uptime and reliability; identify bottlenecks and implement fixes.
  • Monitor global build, test, compute, and storage systems to keep releases on schedule.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate tools and workflows into development processes.

Requirements

Technical skills and experience required to perform the role.

  • Proficient with Linux; Linux administration experience is a plus.
  • Strong scripting and coding skills (Python, Perl, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience with build systems (Makefiles, gcc).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, or CVS.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools.
  • Familiarity with job schedulers (Slurm, LSF, PBS).
  • Experience with Parasoft or other static code analysis tools.
  • Clear technical communication and documentation skills; ability to prioritize work.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science with ~2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with at least ~4 years of relevant experience.
