Role Summary

Senior customer-facing application engineer for emulation and prototyping based in the Cadence Katowice office, primarily supporting customers in Israel. The role delivers technical solutions, deploys emulation technologies, and provides hands-on customer support in coordination with global R&D and application engineering teams.

Work involves debugging, performance optimization, proof-of-concept activities, and developing customer-specific solutions.

Responsibilities

The role combines customer engagement, technical execution, solution development, and cross-team collaboration.

• Deploy and support emulation and prototyping solutions at customer sites.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues; provide timely debugging and support.
• Develop and optimize emulation and acceleration workflows for performance.
• Support benchmarks, tool evaluations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.
• Develop customer-specific solutions and collaborate on complex technical engagements.
• Coordinate with local R&D and global teams to support hyperscaler customers across time zones.

Requirements

Core must-have and preferred skills.

• Must-have: Experience in digital design or verification; strong RTL knowledge (SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL).
• Must-have: Experience with simulation and debug workflows and delivering technical customer support.
• Must-have: Ability to work effectively with global teams and across time zones; role is based in the Katowice office.
• Must-have: Eligible to live and work in Poland (EU national or valid authorization).
• Nice-to-have: FPGA development experience.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with UVM or modern verification methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Python, Tcl).

Education Requirements
