Layout Student
Role Summary
Join the P-Core Layout Team within Intel's Big Core processor organization to support processor layout development for CPU cores. This is a hands-on student role focused on learning and contributing to layout activities under engineering supervision.

Entry-level (student/intern).
Responsibilities
The role supports the P-Core Layout team in processor layout tasks and learning Intel's development tools and processes.
- Perform layout-related tasks under guidance from senior layout engineers.
- Use and learn advanced development tools used for CPU layout and verification.
- Assist in preparing design data, documentation, and tapeout support as directed.
- Work collaboratively with engineers across design, verification, and physical teams.
- Manage multiple assignments and adapt priorities during development sprints and exam periods.
- Work on-site according to the team's schedule (Shift 1, Israel).

- Availability of at least 36 hours per week; flexible during examination periods.
- Strong ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Basic familiarity with electronics, engineering fundamentals, or software concepts (technical background preferred - education details below).
- Ability to work on-site in Haifa and adhere to team schedules.
- Nice-to-have: good English proficiency.
Education Requirements
Student enrolled in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with at least 1.5 years remaining until graduation. Basic background in electronics, computer engineering, software, or electrical engineering is expected.
