Role Summary

Lead and grow a custom layout team responsible for Micron's global NAND layout needs. Ensure delivery of analog and custom layout projects by coordinating resources, schedules, and cross-functional teams across India, the US, Japan, and Italy.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a custom layout team to meet global NAND project targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize resources and logistics across multiple projects.
• Manage schedules to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of analog and custom layout work.
• Coordinate with Technology Development (TD), Design, CAD, and other layout teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in India, the US, Japan, and Italy.
• Drive innovation and adoption of workflows for future memory generations.
• Oversee team performance, hiring, retention, and professional development.
• Promote use of AI tools to automate tools, workflows, and improve build efficiency.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

• Must-have: Proficiency with Cadence VLE/VXL and Calibre DRC/LVS.
• Must-have: Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted coding techniques and AI tools to automate design, analysis, and workflow tasks.
• Must-have: Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including hiring and retention management.
• Must-have: Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to IC layout design and planning.
• Must-have: Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and delivering projects on schedule.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience with NAND or other non-volatile memory technologies.
