Role Summary

Join the layout team to assist in producing high-quality integrated circuit layouts and learn semiconductor physical-design workflows. The intern will support implementation, verification, documentation, and design reviews while working with senior engineers.

In-office role based in Yerevan for a 12-month, full-time internship (40 hours/week).

Experience Level

Intern / Entry-level — intended for students; no prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Assist in development and modification of IC layout designs under senior guidance
• Support layout verification activities, including DRC, LVS, and basic debugging
• Prepare and maintain layout documentation and design records
• Learn and apply industry-standard EDA tools and physical-design workflows
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements

Must-have skills and conditions:

• Basic understanding of semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and VLSI design
• Familiarity with layout concepts and physical-design principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Available to work full-time in-office in Yerevan for a 12-month internship (40 hours/week)

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with DRC/LVS tools and analog/mixed-signal EDA workflows

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
