Collaborate with front-end design, place-and-route, verification, DFT, and manufacturing teams to support design reviews and tapeout.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Implement physical layout for blocks/modules to meet timing, area, power, and DRC/LVS requirements.
- Develop floorplans, power/ground networks, and place standard cells and macros.
- Work with place-and-route and verification engineers to close timing and address signal integrity.
- Perform DRC/LVS checks, resolve rule violations, and prepare GDSII for tapeout.
- Write and run scripts to automate layout tasks and data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design reviews and sign-off activities.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Practical experience with IC physical layout flows and physical verification (DRC/LVS).
- Hands-on experience with EDA layout, P&R or signoff tools (Cadence, Innovus, PrimeTime, or equivalent).
- Scripting experience (Tcl, Python, or similar) for automation and data handling.
- Ability to interpret schematics/RTL and translate constraints into physical implementations.
- Strong troubleshooting and cross-team communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with advanced process nodes, parasitic extraction, and signoff flows.
- Familiarity with DFT, timing closure methodologies, and manufacturing readiness.
