Junior System Engineer for Automotive Innovations
Role Summary
Contribute to the design, development, integration, and validation of semiconductor-based systems and solutions within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Support definition of system requirements, interfaces, and specifications to enable hardware and software integration.
This role focuses on system-level activities throughout the product lifecycle and provides an opportunity to develop technical expertise in embedded and semiconductor systems.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include translating requirements into system-level solutions, supporting integration and verification, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Support development and documentation of system requirements, architectures, and technical specifications for semiconductor products.
- Assist in defining system interfaces, functional behavior, and I/O parameters for hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer, business, and technical requirements and translate them into system-level solutions.
- Participate in system modeling, simulation, prototyping, integration, testing, and validation activities.
- Identify, analyze, and help resolve system design, performance, and integration issues.
- Contribute to design reviews and technical discussions during product development.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, methodologies, and engineering tools.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Work closely with hardware, software, verification, and product teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
Requirements

- Understanding of systems engineering fundamentals and hardware/software interactions.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems, semiconductor technologies, digital design, or system modeling concepts.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate in a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Nice-to-have
- Internship, academic project, research, or co-op experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, hardware design, or software development.
- Familiarity with C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Exposure to requirements management, modeling, simulation, verification, or validation methodologies.
- Knowledge of automotive, industrial, IoT, mobile, or edge processing technologies.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
