Junior SW Safety Engineer - Student
Role Summary
Entry-level position on the automotive software team contributing to functional safety and cybersecurity activities for NXP software products. The role supports project-level safety compliance with ISO 26262 and assists the Project Functional Safety Manager and Safety Assessors.

Responsibilities
Contribute to functional safety and cybersecurity deliverables and support project-level safety activities.
- Contribute to project deliverables: Impact Analysis, Safety and Cybersecurity Plan, SW Tools Evaluation, and Safety Case.
- Help plan and monitor safety confirmation measures and cybersecurity audits; ensure execution and acceptance.
- Support deployment of the corporate Functional Safety process at the project level.
- Identify, highlight, and report safety risks at the project level.
- Support the Project Functional Safety Manager in interfacing with the Safety Assessors team.
- Learn and apply software development methods required by ISO 26262.
