Role Summary
Design and implement on-chip clocking for NVIDIA GPUs and CPUs. The role focuses on architecting clock domains, collaborating with front-end, physical design, timing, verification, and silicon teams, and supporting clock programming and silicon bring-up.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing clocking architecture and delivering RTL and implementation work across the ASIC flow.
- Architect clock domains to meet functional, physical, and test requirements.
- Work with architects, front-end, physical implementation, timing, and DFT teams to define clocking solutions.
- Evaluate PPA trade-offs and implement clocking topologies in RTL.
- Collaborate with physical design and timing teams to address high-speed clocking challenges.
- Deliver clock RTL, documentation, and support to verification and silicon validation teams.
- Participate in the full ASIC cycle from micro-architecture through silicon bring-up and debug.
Requirements
Essential skills and experience for the role.
- Must-have: Understanding of logic optimization techniques and power/performance/area (PPA) trade-offs.
- Must-have: Experience with RTL design (Verilog), verification, and logic synthesis.
- Must-have: Strong scripting skills (Python or similar).
- Must-have: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with on-chip clocking networks or sub-micron silicon issues (noise, crosstalk, OCV).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
