Junior Integration Engineer (PLCM)

Role Summary

Support cross-functional activities to introduce new semiconductor products and transition silicon prototypes (PQ4) into early production ramp (PQ5). Work with Product Life Cycle Management, Design Enablement, Process Integration, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and Marketing to coordinate technical product release and successful ramp-up.

This is a hands-on junior role focused on project coordination, progress tracking, risk analysis and technical communication during product introduction.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities during product introduction and early ramp phases.

  • Support product-readiness and ramp-up activities for PQ4 → PQ5 transitions.
  • Plan, coordinate and track tasks related to product introduction.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with program managers and functional teams to ensure smooth ramp-up.
  • Report product and ramp status in technical meetings and reviews.
  • Contribute to risk analyses and implementation of mitigation actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in product and ramp processes.
  • Participate in RTR/RTP processes during the production ramp phase.

  • Nice-to-have: Practical experience in the semiconductor industry (internships, student work, research projects).
  • Nice-to-have: Basic knowledge of product development, project management or manufacturing processes.
  • Nice-to-have: Very good German (written and spoken), C1.

Education Requirements

Required: Completed Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a comparable field (Master's level). Equivalent academic qualification in a related technical discipline may be considered.
