Junior FPGA Engineer
Role Summary
Join KBR's National Security Solutions team to support development, testing, and verification of FPGA-based signal processing and communications systems for defense and intelligence customers.
This early-career engineering role provides hands-on FPGA, DSP, and embedded-systems work in a laboratory environment under guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include implementing and verifying FPGA designs, supporting hardware integration, and maintaining development artifacts.
- Develop, implement, and test FPGA logic for digital signal processing and communications applications.
- Implement basic DSP functions in FPGA hardware under guidance from senior engineers.
- Perform FPGA integration, hardware bring-up, and lab debugging.
- Develop and run simulation testbenches to verify functional behavior of FPGA designs.
- Integrate FPGA logic with embedded processors and system interfaces.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and configuration management.

- Basic understanding of digital logic and digital signal processing concepts.
- Practical interest or coursework in FPGA development and embedded systems.
- Ability to perform hardware bring-up and debugging in a laboratory environment.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
