Junior Engineer - Reliability Testing

Role Summary

Work as a member of the Fab1 Reliability Lab in Dresden to perform product-level reliability experiments and support technology development, qualification and product reliability monitoring. The role supports reliability systems and methods across interdisciplinary teams and coordinates with global reliability and test-floor operations.

This is an early-career engineering role focused on executing and documenting reliability measurements that inform process and product qualification.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform product-level reliability experiments such as HTOL and NVM according to JEDEC and industry standards to support technology development and qualification.
  • Develop and maintain test programs for measurement systems (MCC, ELES) to execute requested reliability measurements.
  • Collaborate with global reliability teams, test-floor operations and external partners to ensure tool performance and measurement integrity.
  • Implement and maintain documentation and procedures for reliability test operations and data recording.
  • Support product-level reliability systems, data analysis and reporting required for qualification and product monitoring.

Requirements

Must-have and desirable qualifications (education items listed below under Education Requirements):

  • Good knowledge of test and measurement methodology and reliability experiment execution.
  • Experience with development and programming environments for test automation and data handling.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Good organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • German language skills are a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline is required per the posting.
