Junior Engineer for Product Development

Role Summary

As a Junior Product Development Engineer supporting product engineering under guidance from senior engineers, you will help develop and release semiconductor products from concept through production. The role focuses on data collection and analysis, reporting, root-cause support, and cross-functional collaboration across prototyping, qualification, and sustaining stages.

Entry-level β€” suitable for candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include collecting and analyzing product and reliability data, supporting reporting and change management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Collect, validate, and analyze product, yield, and reliability data.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track product performance metrics.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, including parametric correlations and multidimensional outlier screening.
  • Support root cause analysis by providing structured data insights.
  • Monitor product quality and highlight deviations from targets.
  • Analyze data from IC design, wafer sort, packaging, and final test.
  • Support change management by validating data before and after implementation.
  • Maintain data quality, consistency, and documentation.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor processes (design, fabrication, packaging, or test).
  • Familiarity with engineering fundamentals and data analysis concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python (including ML), PySpark, and SQL, or equivalent programming skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and structured, analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills across engineering disciplines.
  • English language proficiency at least C1.

Nice-to-have:

  • First experience in a semiconductor or related engineering environment (working student roles or internships).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, STEM, or a related field.
